Prescription FAQ's

• How long does it take for my prescription to be processed by the Pharmacist?

  At Blooms The Chemist, we aim to ship your medicines within 1 business day. However, there are some things that may delay your order:

  • For paper prescriptions, your script must be delivered to our Online Pharmacist in Randwick NSW before we can process and ship your order, depending on your location this may take 2-5 business days.
  • Electronic prescriptions can be processed immediately provided your token number has been entered correctly, in the case of an error our Pharmacist will contact you to check details.
  • Our Pharmacist may need get in contact with you to talk about your medicines before your prescription can be shipped, be sure to provide your best contact details in the checkout.

• How do I know which price entitlement is right for me?

  Some medicines are subsidised by the Australian Government under the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) and the price may differ depending on your entitlement.

  Price entitlements for prescription products include:

  • Medicare Card (PBS)
  • Private
  • Entitlement (Concession)
  • Safety Net

  If you select the incorrect price entitlement accidentally don’t worry, our Online Pharmacist will check your order before it is shipped and contact you if needed.

• How do I use my electronic prescription?

  You can enter in your electronic prescription token number at checkout after you have selected your medicine.

  Please note, you will be asked to enter a token number for each prescription medicine you are ordering, be careful to ensure you have entered the correct script against the medicine.

• I have a paper prescription, how can I send it?

  Post your paper prescription for FREE to:

  Blooms The Chemist

  Rohit's Day & Night Pharmacy Randwick.

  10 Belmore Rd, Randwick NSW 2031.

  Any remaining repeats will be returned back to you in your order.

  Please note, your script must be delivered to our Online Pharmacist in Randwick NSW before we can process and ship your order, depending on your location this may take 2-5 business days.

• Are there purchase limits that apply prescription items?

  Yes, currently we are only able to supply 1 of each prescription item per transaction. If you have any questions or need any assistance with your Script please contact us and our Online Pharmacist will be happy to assist.
